Sara is a Certified Human Resources Professional who has been working in the field since 2017 as a Generalist and Manager. Currently, she is employed as a Human Resources Consultant and Social Media Marketer with The Human Resources Business Group (HRBG), a London and area HR Consultancy. Sara also enjoys her role as Part-Time Faculty for HR students at Fanshawe College.

Prior to working in Human Resources, Sara was a classically trained musician for over 10 years. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music performance from Western University and studied at the doctoral level for three years at West Virginia University. She has performed and taught music in Canada, the United States, and Europe. She continues to perform in the London and area community as an oboist with the London Concert Band.

Sara is a prolific networker, attending multiple events through the HRPA (where she volunteers as a Connector), her HR Consultancy, and the Southwestern Ontario Human Resources Business Group (SOHRG). Along with BPW, she is an active member of several other professional groups and has attended both in-person and virtual networking events through The Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), The People People Group, The Little Engines Small Business Support Community, and The Trouble Club in London, England.
