BPW London's Speakers Series will be virtual, until further notice, 7:00 - 8:30 pm, the third Tuesday of the month.
Senator Gwen Boniface will discuss her career choices of a policewoman, lawyer and former Commissioner of the OPP amongst others and why she made them: her takeaways to help other women make their decisions in their career path.

Kim McDougall joined BPW at the start of 2019 and jumped in with both feet: she served as Credentials Chair for the 74th BPW Ontario Virtual Conference/AGM held September 2020.
Kim launched a new business, Kimberly McDougall.The Travel Agent Next Door, in June 2019 just nine months before COVID-19 led to worldwide travel restrictions for tourists. Find out what plans Kim has for her business and how she coped with something totally beyond her control or planning that seriously affected her business model.

Winn Barnett is an Independent Sales Director for Mary Kay Cosmetics. A BPW London member for over 10 years, Winn has served on the executive for most of those years and currently is taking a well-deserved break from club management.
Winn is passionate about helping women look their best: hear her story of how she reinvented her successful business when COVID changed the way she presented her products. She will also include some makeup tips for virtual meetings.
The raffle prize was a Mary Kay Satin Hands Pampering Kit donated by Winn Barnett.
- Once again this year BPW London supported the London Basket Brigade. This year the Brigade requested cash donations as they are mainly donated gift cards to families to cut down on the handling of goods and face to face meetings. BPW London club and members donated close to $700 to the Brigade to help them reach their goal of serving 125 London families.

Kelly Tallon Franklin, Courage for Freedom
January will feature BPW London member Kelly Franklin, the founder and Chief Executive Director of Courage for Freedom. Since joining BPW in 2018, we have watched Kelly grow her connections around the world all the while fighting fearlessly for her "girls". In 2019, she was appointed the Chair of BPW International's Human Trafficking Task Force and has been the chair of BPW Canada's Human Trafficking Ad-Hoc Committee since 2018.

Kathryn Munn, Munn Conflict Resolution Services, has been a BPW London member for over 20 years. After many years rest, she returned to the BPW London board in 2019 as our International Chair.
Kathryn always introduces herself asking if you have conflict in your life - as professional women we all always answer "yes". Do you know any difficult people? In your work or personal life? Join us to get some practical tips about how to deal with difficult people.
Through, Munn Conflict Resolution Services, Kathryn offers courses in mediation and other topics related to conflict resolution.
Kelsy Gill a Young BPW member, Kelsy over her fairly short time with the BPW London club, has chaired an active Resolutions/By-Laws Committee.
Now also as our President, she will tell the story of her law career and how it has helped her be active not only in BPW but also in the community. As always, our April event will feature the presentation of upcoming provincial resolutions developed by BPW clubs across Ontario.
May 18, 2021 - Are You Aware? - Internet Child Exploitation
Charlene Doak-Gebauer, Internet Sense First
Charlene Doak-Gebauer, another new member of BPW London (joined in 2019), is BPW London's connection to the foremost expert in the field of internet child exploitation.
Charlene is Founder and Chair of the Canadian Federal charity Internet Sense First, Founder and Chair of the AICET Council (Anti Internet Child Exploitation Team). She is also an author, a speaker and even a playwright. Her events educating health care workers, teachers, social agencies, enforcement agencies and ordinary people are always well attended. Listen to see if you are unwittingly enabling internet child exploiters and learn how to protect your children and grandchildren from them.
