Joan is an Operational Leader with more than 20 years of executive level experience in the customer service contact centre industry. After 12 very successful years as part of the executive team at Rogers Communications, Joan decided to take an early retirement and to focus on some personal goals and to giving back to her community. Joan’s roles in Rogers required her to be located in Toronto for much of her career in Rogers and she is now looking forward to being a more active participant in her home community of London, Ontario.
As a Director and a VP accountable for delivering excellence in customer service to consumers across Canada, Joan’s success in leading large management teams came from the development of internal candidates to fill leadership roles and by removing barriers for women to step forward for operational leadership opportunities. Joan has been recognized throughout her career with rewards and recognition for her operational ability to deliver stellar results and meet significant business challenges and transformation requirements – she gives full credit to the many amazing teams of professionals she has had the privilege to support and lead.
